I'd like to get speed bumps installed around the lake road. I think the town of Sanford would be responsible, but we may have to put together a petition or something.

I've been jogging around the lake this summer and have yet to see a car go at or below the posted speed limit of 25mph. I have been closely passed by many cars going anywhere from 40-60mph though. This is a bad accident waiting to happen with so many joggers, walkers, kids, and strollers on the road.

There is no way the lake roads will every be patrolled by police so the next logical solution is to install speed bumps to force traffic to slow down to the posted speed limit.
